Norfolk State University is a mountain worth the climb, President Tony Atwater told a large crowd Monday, and, like any great mountain, will take skill, courage and endurance to surmount.
“We must climb that mountain, and failure is not an option,” Atwater said. “For at stake is NSU’s ability to give low-income and first-generation students an opportunity to lead productive lives and careers.”
